Adir Koschitzky

CEO & Portfolio Manager

Adir founded AYAL in 2013. Previously he worked at Waratah Capital Advisors where he was the firm’s first Fundamental Analyst. Before Waratah, Adir was an Equity Analyst at JL Advisors, a $3B hedge fund based in New York. Adir holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and a BA in Mathematics from Yeshiva University. 

Sanjay Kamra

Associate Portfolio Manager, Healthcare

Sanjay joined AYAL in 2016. Before AYAL, Sanjay spent three years in investment banking, where he worked as a Senior Analyst in GMP Securities’ Diversified Investment Banking Group as well as Canaccord Genuity. At GMP, Sanjay focused on Healthcare, Technology, and Financial Institutions. He graduated from Queen’s University with a BSc in Mathematics.

Chris Chapman

Analyst, TMT & Special Situations

Chris has been at AYAL since 2018. He has previously held Analyst positions at Luminus Management and Altai Capital Management in New York, Sageview Capital in Greenwich, and McKinsey in Toronto. He graduated from the Richard Ivey School of Business’s Honours Business Administration program.

Brent Small, CFA

Analyst, Industrials & Materials

Brent joined AYAL in 2022. Brent previously worked at Ashler Capital (a division of Citadel) in Chicago and Polar Asset Management in Toronto. He graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management.

Alejandro Reid

Analyst, Real Estate & Risk Management

Alejandro joined AYAL in 2018 and completed a 12-month internship with the firm. In 2020, Alejandro joined AYAL full-time after graduating from Ryerson University with a BA Honours in International Economics & Finance.

Jack Cole 

Analyst, Diversified Canada

Jack joined AYAL in 2024 and previously completed an internship with the firm in 2021. Prior to joining full-time, Jack worked as a Senior Research Associate at Jarislowsky, Fraser, in Toronto, where he focused his time on Canadian Equities. He graduated from the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
